Business Development Executive

Tarawud is hiring a Business Development Executive with 3+ years of experience to open new accounts, build long-term client relationships, and close digital agency engagements across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the GCC.

About the role

You'll own the top of the pipeline: prospecting, first meetings, scoping, and proposal handover to delivery. You'll work directly with the founders on positioning, pricing, and which markets we lean into next.

This is a hunter role with a relationship-builder's patience. We sell web, mobile, AI, ERP, and brand engagements — usually in the 50k–500k SAR range — to mid-market and enterprise buyers who do not respond to spammy cold outreach. Craft and judgement matter.

What you'll do
  • Build and own a qualified pipeline of mid-market and enterprise prospects across KSA, EG, and the GCC.
  • Run discovery calls, scope projects, and write proposals (with input from delivery leads).
  • Negotiate commercial terms, payment milestones, and contracts to close.
  • Partner with marketing on outbound campaigns, events, and account-based plays.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene — every deal, contact, and next step logged and forecastable.
  • Hand off won engagements to the delivery team with a complete brief and stakeholder map.
  • Build long-term relationships with retained clients — identify upsell and renewal moments.
  • Represent Tarawud at industry events, RFPs, and partner meetings.
What we're looking for
  • 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience — agency, SaaS, or consultancy.
  • Track record of closing deals in the 50k–500k SAR range (or equivalent USD/EGP).
  • Strong understanding of digital services: web, mobile, AI, ERP, branding, marketing.
  • Confident running a full sales cycle: prospect → demo → proposal → contract → handover.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic. Fluency in both is non-negotiable.
  • Proficient with a modern CRM (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close, or similar).
  • Self-directed — you build a target list and work it without daily babysitting.
  • Comfortable in front of CMOs, CTOs, and founders. Bonus: an existing GCC network.
  • Nice to have: experience selling into Saudi government, banking, or hospitality verticals.
