SMEs in Saudi Arabia must connect their invoicing to ZATCA Phase 2, but existing tools were either painfully complex or prohibitively priced. The opportunity: an Arabic-first, simple, fully compliant product.
The solution
We built Invotek on Laravel 12 with a Vue 3 front-end. We integrated:
- ZATCA Phase 2 API for digital signing + invoice submission
- Local payment rails (Paymob, mada, Apple Pay)
- Multi-tenancy with database-per-tenant for enterprise customers
- Mobile companion app for quick archive lookup
The numbers
- 2,400+ businesses activated in the first 90 days
- 99.97% uptime since launch
- 100% ZATCA acceptance rate, zero signature errors
- ~18 hours/month saved per accountant on average
